Horrible Lag Spikes. Empty Horrible Lag Spikes.

Post by Guest Sat 29 Jun 2013, 21:50

So i have just installed all expansions and started a game on a Isla Paradiso map (Yes i have followed an installation guide). After like 10minutes i have discovered a horrible lag spikes. It's always like this, after 5~ minutes i am getting huge lag spikes. I have tried almost every method that was mentioned on this forum. Only "Resetsim *" seems to help for a while, but only for like 1minute... My laptop isnt that bad:

NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M, 4GB RAM, i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30GHz Processor.

What else can I do to fix it out?
My game settings are set to the lowest.
Thanks.

Hello,

That is normal, Yoooj, since you have all expansions. I would suggest you get a hella good pc for all expansions. Because CPU may not handle it well (It's like handling 10 games all at once. Seriously, how can your pc handle it?). 2.30GHz is not ideal, if you have a look at wikipedia of The Sims 3.

Skyrim and other NEW games are working fine... ;/ Ultimate fix is applied.

Plus it's never HOT even if i play Sims 3 with these lags for like 4-5hours ;/. Lags are just annoying.

AND i forgot to add another 2.30GHz to i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30GHz processor so it's actually double 2.30GHz.

This guy probably has similar problem https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t12569-sims-3-lag-jumpy, so i believe that my problem isnt caused by bad Things in my Laptop.

Hello,

if you have a look at Wikipedia, " [If built-in graphics chipsets then 2.6 GHz Pentium D CPU, or 1.8 GHz Core 2 Duo, or equivalent.]"
