Sims 3 Game not working

Captain_cum223 wrote:yeah i tried the ultimate fix and manual update three times but nothing...ugh XD thx for the help btw!  here's how i get to my sims 3 island paradise folder program files, Electronic Arts, The Sims 3 Island Paradise.  but the main game and the other expansions are somewhere completely different and there's like 3 different ".exe" files to open the sims 3 and the launcher.  There's "TS3Launcher" "The Sims 3 Launcher" "Sims3Launcher" and when i try to get into the island paradise folder it starts to work but then i get the error that i need to update and something about the base game not working idk i'll have to look at it again today sometime.  Again thx for the help!

Are you sure you apply the #crack in the Ultimate Fix to the correct directory: C:\Program Files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin?

Catalyst folder it was in idk lol anyway i reinstalled the game and it has 7 setups and i only click 1 and it installed all the expansions, stuff, base game, and store content.  The download literally has EVERYTHING in it so i don't have to pay for any hairs extra clothes nothing and that reinstalled fine and works now the only problem i have now is how to get the island paradise to work this time lol
