My Sims 3 is crashing! Empty My Sims 3 is crashing!

i did the DEP and the ultimate fix it's still crashing... Help

 it crashed after 2 hours (i dont remember the exact time but it was more than 2 hours) Wat. i didn't even add a pet to my house 
and it crashed after rescuing a guy from drowning ._. (LIFEGUARD PROFESSION) it worked fine before that.

umm it gave me a box of folders what do i do in it?

 tell me in EASY words though Wat.

You need to select the folder of the unzipped Ultimate Fix.
When you got the fix, it was a .rar, then you extracted the files.
Select the folder containing all the folders (base game, Ambitions, ...).

We talked a little while ago in the chatbox, and there you already seemed to apply the Ultimate fix correctly. What I am a bit surprised about is, that you are now getting another error again...normally you have to apply the Ultimate fix ONCE ONLY. Wink 

OK, try this: go to your anti-virus software and add the following filepath to the "exceptions": C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin.

(I can't tell you how exactly to add things to the "exceptions" of your anti-virus software, as I don't know what software you have, and because this might be different with each program).

I did not want to open another topic because i have a similar problem. My game crashes whenever I use buy mode after installing the 1.55 update. I install ultimate fix properly because I already used it on 1.50 update (of course I downloaded another fix for this update) and everything was fine, so I'm sure that i install it correctly. After I installed the manual update, I went to Launcher and after refreshing update page it installed me patches. I looked on the sims 3 forum and many have this problem, besides that everything works normal.

Normally, you should open a separate topic on this; but I think it's easier in this case to make an exception. My Sims 3 is crashing! Icon_wink

OK, what exactly were your sims doing when the game crashed ? Did you - in the last few days - install any new custom content or mods ? And did you get any error messages when the game crashes ?

I actually thought after the session in the chatbox, that everything was fine ?

By the way: I haven't had much time to try the thing about the crashing with the dog - but I will update the other topic of yours here, when I get to that.
