The Correct Way to Install Sims 3 issue**. [CLOSED]

OK when I go to that thread about how to properly install the games and the fixes, the one with the 5 steps, steps 2 and 3 give me the same files... The file names are the same, the sizes of the files are the same... I am really confused. And I applied all the cracks from the ultimate fix and now all of my EPs and SPs after Generations are gone.
