Need Help Installing The Sims 3. [SOLVED]

Hi i need help in installing the expansion packs for Sims 3. I downloaded another torrent of the sims 3 but idk if i need to download yours and install it to be able to install the expansion packs. Also can i get a step by step process on how to install the expansions. I would really appreeciate it if it is no trouble. I read the installation guide that is on the Sims 3 fix but i didnt really understand, do i need your sims 3 torrent to be able to install the expanisions or can i use any. But please help me out in doing this i really would appreciate it if you help me out. I hope you guys can help me out im new with torrents. thank you

Please note that you need Generations in order to make it all work. Do not miss a step, read everything. If you don't know how to install the expansions; an "# Installation Guide.txt" is included with them all.

can i have a keygen for generations please, and if i update ims 3 will i still be able to play the game?

Everything you need - including Serial Keys - is included in the included "# Installation Guide.txt". Read it very carefully!
If you want to update the game to the latest version, just apply this Fix: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-ultimate-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems (Read the instructions VERY carefully on where to put which files!)

i replaced the files and right when i was going to start the launcher it says that there is a problem with the launcher

Did you install Generations at all?

yes i did install generations and when it was loading it said disc invalidation.

wait just to ask when doing the ultimate fix i only need to do the steps 10 - 14. Alsso i must have the game already installed to update the sims 3 again or do i update it before i install it. I know these are kinda stupid questions but i want to be 100% sure of what im doing.

When doing the Ultimate Fix, only apply the Generations Crack to the main The Sims 3 folder:

C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin

And yes, in order to update, you must have the game installed first.

Here is a simple little guide I wrote up, summarizing Admin's directions. Make sure you install Generations right after the base game. Then any other expansions you want. Ignore steps 1-3 if you aren't uninstalling everything.

1. Uninstall all Sims 3 applications from your computer.
2. Delete Electronic Arts folder in Program Files, if it's still there.
3. Restart computer.
4. Install The Sims 3 base game, then Generations, then any other expansion pack you want. Only install them, don't do any patches or cracks!
5. After everything is installed, open the Sims 3 Launcher and update.
6. After updating, use the Generations crack from the file linked below (or you can just use the crack included with Generations expansion you downloaded) and place it in C:/Program Files/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Game/Bin.
7. Play your game and enjoy!

so i re install generations then i get the other expansions i want then i do the update then i get the crack of generation of the ultimate fix and put it on C:/Program Files/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Game/Bin then it will work right.

Ok so first i install the sims 3 which its already installed, then i install generations, and after installing generations i can get other expansions like late night, ambition, etc. Once i get the expansions i want i then do the steps 10 -14 of the installation guide in the the Ultimate Fix, and thats it.

Hi everyone! I'm new here and hope everyone is doing well. I have a quick question. I have the "MUST READ INSTALL SIMS" page open and I am following the steps like told. I just installed the Sims3 Base Game, but in order to install Generations, it says I need to update the game to the latest version. Now I have the file that will update the program to version 1.22 which is the only way Generations can be installed, but your instructions don't say anything about updating the Base game. So, do I need to do this or is there a way to install Generations without it? Thank you so much for the help. I've been dying to play for days, but I kept getting the message "The Sims must close" and then it does. Thanks again!

EDIT: Oh and also, can I download the EA Download Manager when I'm done so that I can use my add ons and store items that I also downloaded? They don't seem to work without it, but I could be wrong.
