Error Code 12 - Stopping me from saving

Hi guys, I'm gonna get right to my problem. Error Code 12. I keep getting and I really don't know why. I have tried moving my saves to the desktop and then back. I delete the files that have the .bad at the end and it still doesn't work. I have the NRass Mods 
- Master Controller 
- Master ControllerCheats
- ErrorTrap
- Overwatch

I have no other mods but the storefix. I thought maybe the mods were outdated and that was why I was getting the problem but that wasn't the case.
I  read over the internet that this error is caused by the memories feature that came with generations. But in-game I have disabled memories since I installed the game onto my PC, and after receiving the error 2 times I used the MasterController feature making memories creation false and "Purge?" all memories that any sim in my "Hometown"
Still I get the error.

My computer, according to this website says I can run all the sims 3 and all the expansions very very well. So, I don't believe it is a spec issuse. I haven't had this problem before, it only cropped up a week ago and now I can't seem to get rid of it. I have been playing sims 3 since university life on this computer without any issues until now. 

Other people on the sims 3 website said that this may be a corrupt world error so I saved my family into the bin and made a new world, i managed to save 3 times (using the "Save-As" trick) before getting the error again. 
Now I almost can't ever save the game without getting this error. Could someone help me please? This is really annoying me and making me not want to play the sims 3 and I love it so much. 

P.S. I have every expansion, no stuff packs. My game is fully updated and I have done the ultimate fix. I have one save at the moment. I used to have 4 different saves that I play with every so often but I removed all but one to try and clean up this error. I have also removed the backups for the saves I have deleted.

More generally, try to shorten your playing sessions, and save in short intervals.

 I have tried this, I mentioned in my post. But sadly it did not work. I'm going to look at the first link you sent and see if anything can help me there. Thank you for getting back to me so quickly!

Um, When I play I normally close all programs even the background ones. I tend not to go on processors because I don't want to close something really important. ( I don't know too much about computers)

I have had this persistent error before but since the suggestions Carlos G. made on my topic before, it has reduced to showing up for once every four saves to none (but still my gametime is still limited to an hour or so). Though it may also have something to do with the fact that I only create boathouses right now, which means less save file size. I also delete the Sims University with .nhd and .package which takes up a lot of the memory in the save file. It did not affect my game in anyway, so I don't know what it actually does other than it shows up when I'm in the Uni world.

Carlos G. also introduced me to the 'Save Cleaner' which immensely helped me because it deletes all the junk files in the game. I once had a 100+ mb save file and I always had Error Code 12 every 2 or 3 saves, but then I used the Save Cleaner and it reduced the size to almost half and the error code 12 does not show up again until more saves.

The memories and the dead people basically are the major contributors of error code 12 in my game now that my house is smaller than I usually am used to having. So the MasterController helped me with both of it.

The most effective one for me though is exiting the game every 40 minutes (2x save every 20 minutes--nRaas Saver helps me with this) and then open it again. It is quite tedious though, but I learned to just go with it rather than start all over again because of the error.

Thanks for all the advice, but something new has come up while trying to fix this error. I am able to save once but after this save my sims 3 game crashed to desktop. At the moment I'm trying out things the admin has said that could help fix this error. It is not as soon as I save the game crashes but it is about after an hour of gameplay that it will just randomly crash. So far I have removed my MODS folder and added the base game and expansion packs to the DEP thing and still this happens.

I can't really confirm that the error 12 has be fixed before I fix this issues.

Okay, so today I'm trying to get Save Cleaner to work, but I have no way of getting my saves into the box... I'm very confused on how it works.

I have done all the things here but 3, 6 and 7 of the things mentioned here

Oh! The problem isn't solved but I managed to deal with it. Now what I do to avoid getting the error is have memories creation off via master controller  (Nrass) and use Nrass saver and have it on a 2 save cycle. After about 4 saves I restart the game. This helps me avoid the error. Unless I go into CAS then I save 2 times then restart.
