UNable to install base game

I've tried installing previously and found out that I did it wrongly. So I uninstalled everything and tried installing the base game again.
This is what popped up when I selected the disc 1:

Hello 
Did you try again, and see if it's consistent?
Where did you get the download from?
Did you burn the disk images, or do you have them mounted?
Would you be able to redownload the game if it comes to that?

I tried a few times. It's still the same.
I downloaded everything from games4theworld and had the base game mounted.
So I'm supposed to redownload the base game?

Do you still have the base game in your torrent program ? If so, right-click on the download and select "stop". Then right-click again and choose "Force re-check", and wait for it to complete (I don't know how long this will take).
This is in "Utorrent" the case at least , maybe this is different in other torrent clients though.

if u dont have microsoft visual c++ download it or if u have it try updating it and did u use winrar or any other software to extract the files?

Just FYI, this also popped up after I've clicked ok on the abnormal program termination.
I've tried reinstalling the base game and also redownload the expansion pack. It still wont work. Any idea what can i do?
