Can't Update Expansion Packs. [SOLVED]

I tried using your ultimate fix. I applied it to all of my expansions and base game (used "all expansion packs released after and including Generations" for base game), but my launcher still says it's unable to connect to Origin.

Now, I've used the manual patch that's included with your torrent that's linked on your homepage (The Sims 3 complete collection) and my base game is updated fully. Launcher also says my game is up to date, and it is - but that only goes for the base game. My World Adventures, Late Night and Ambitions aren't up to date.

Is there any way to sort this out?

Hello,

The big manual patch (that most people are using now) does not update those early expanions, actually. If you want, google for the following things:

- World Adventures 2.17.2
- Late Night 6.5.1
- Ambitions 4.10.1

I used to have those files myself, but I can't find them anymore. I will actually google for them myself, since I installed those updates for my Sims 3 installation on the old hard-drive, which died half a year ago. So I actually need to install these myself again, and maybe I will also ask the Admin to put them up here on the forum.

Note that in order to actually play the game, you do NOT need these old patches ! I think they can fix a few in-game bugs, about these expansions, but I cannot tell for sure how "useful" they are. Good luck though !

Thank you very much, Carlos. I assumed the manual patch only updates base game.

The reason why I wanted those patches is because my game crashed and I used Crash log analyzer at MTS which said my game might have crashed because my WA, Ambitions and LN aren't updated.

But my game hasn't crashed since even though I played the same save file, so it might be an isolated incident. God knows what actually caused that crash.

Still not a single crash, and I've played for plenty of hours since then.

Crashes sometimes happen randomnly, even on stronger computers. As for me, my computer is more than capable of running TS3 and all expansions, and very rarely, it still crashes.
