Households do not load & Sims do not appear after Ultimate Fix.

I recently applied the most recent fix w/ Luxury Pack, and for the most part is solved a lot of issues I was having after getting GTW. The problem now is none of my households load at all. At the main menu/map, when I click on a household to play, the preview of the family at the bottom right corner does not even show up. When I click to play the household, the screen just zooms into the house on the map and doesn't do anything else. The menus for options/saving/exiting the game, as well as switching from the difference maps works fine, but the households do not load or appear. I tried to start a new household an that worked just fine, (so CAS works fine), but when the game takes them to the lot I choose the sims do not appear, and the information on the bottom left corner where the picture of selected sim, moods, etc. would be is not there. I have always played with custom content in my games, and have occasionally found some custom content I have added to cause things to go haywire, but I've even tried removing each custom content item I have in my mods folder one by one, and then altogether, and the problem persists. Does anyone know what it could be? I tried resetting the game, and again, the problem persists.
