Missing files error with Ultimate Fix and Get to Work. [CLOSED] Empty Missing files error with Ultimate Fix and Get to Work. [CLOSED]

Hi there,

I just installed the Sims 4 , the game installs and runs perfectly.

However, I now tried to install the Get to Work expansion pack and the Ultimate Fix to my game, but either of those give me the error: "Unable to start: Cannot start because required game data is missing or damaged. Please try reinstalling the game. [85262c58:29f00e76:00000000:0000000]"

Anti-virus isn't a factor here, I don't run it. Furthermore, I also haven't installed any Mods or CC.

Could somebody help me figuring this out? Missing files error with Ultimate Fix and Get to Work. [CLOSED] Icon_smile

I actually moved your other thread to the correct location (we do have a small Mac support subforum here):

But don't open new topics about the same question please. Smile  If you are having problems with finding your previous posts/topics, please click in the top right corner of the forum window where it says "Welcome Nynke_B", then click on "My topics".

Also note that as of now, we actually cannot give regular support with Sims 4 on Mac, so you should not necessarily expect an answer to your question, sorry. Someone posted a guide about Sims 4 and wineskin, but that person is not a team member; plus we currently don't have any active Mac Helpers either.
