The Sims 4 'Origin Is Not Running' error pop up! *Read details*
Okay, I know that this problem is already solved quite some time ago and there shouldn't be any problems if I follow the instructions to the letter. When I first installed this game, of course, I followed all the instructions to make sure I won't be making any mistakes, the game ran perfectly until when I was installing some mods and the game starts to be crashing a lot in Create-A-Sim screen. So, I decided to uninstall the game and reinstall it, and the 'Origin Is Not Running' error appeared, even though I already moved the game from Program Files (x86) > Electronic Arts to Program Files (x86). I tried to uninstall the game again and reinstall it and the same thing happened again, I've been doing this 4 times already. Of course, I also did use Ultimate Fix each time. The fourth time I tried to reinstall the game, I tried to open each games, from the Base Game and then the Get To Work and they worked perfectly. Then, I tried to apply the Ultimate Fix and that is when the 'Origin Is Not Running' error popped up. Is there a problem with the Ultimate Fix?
To summarize everything:
I hope that the Games4TheWorld community could share their opinions on how to fix this error. Oh and one more thing, when I applied the Ultimate Fix, I moved The Sims 4 folder to Program Files (x86) folder and closed Origin right from the Task Manager and when I start the game, suddenly, Origin sign in pop up appeared, and the 'Origin Is Not Running' error followed soon after.
To summarize everything:
- No problem during the first installation. Followed instructions given.
- Game started to crash during Create-A-Sim screen.
- Uninstalled Sims 4 and reinstalled, Origin error popped up (Although the game is already moved to Program Files (x86), which is outside Electronic Arts folder)
- Tried to uninstall and reinstall until the 4th one, where I discovered that the game wouldn't start after applying Ultimate Fix (The latest one) The Base Game can be played, same goes to Get To Work, not when Ultimate Fix is applied.

Sorry for the late reply and welcome to the forum,
See the quote. The fact that you are getting the Origin sign-in option is an indicator that you did not (properly) configure your Windows Defender and/or anti-virus exclusions.
You can either watch Sim Architect's video, that deals (among other stuff) with configuring Windows Defender on Windows 10 here:
https://youtu.be/CBHwvwaE2TM
Or you can read up on my more extensive post here:
https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t18501-unable-to-start-initialization-error-at-startup-updated-on-11-9-2015
I know that's a lot of information, but unfortunately times are changing. Just putting in crack files and replacing old files is simply not enough anymore nowadays, if you want to play modern cracked games.
One last thing, I suggest you (re-)install the Base game, Get to Work, and then you get my experimental fix from here:

There have been some errors with the fix that the Admin uploaded. Please use the one that I posted in this thread. Good luck !

It worked!
Thank you very much for the respond. It was very helpful! Turns out the reason why the error kept happening is because I did not exclude the folder where I installed The Sims 4. The first time I installed The Sims 4, I didn't have to do the exclusion so that is why I did not do this very important step every time I tried to reinstall. Again, thank you very much! Have a great day~
