Base game bought on Steam. Can i mix with the other expansions packs?

Hello,
First of all English is not my natvie language so i hope you understand what i'm trying to say.
So i bought the Sims 3 on steam and i was wondering if i can mix it with the expansions pack that can be found on this site. I've already downloaded the complete collection and when i try to intall it i get an error that says that the Sims 3 has to ben installed. So is there no way to install the expansions pack on my steam version of the game?
I hope you could understand what i'm trying to say.

Try downloading the packs you want separate if you already have the base game installed

Hello and welcome to the forum,
You cannot mix a Steam-basegame of The Sims 3 with pirated expansions. You will need to uninstall the Steam-game and start afresh with a pirated Sims 3 base game, which is also included in our "Complete Collection".
