Game does not open. [SOLVED]

I just finished installing the sims 4 base game on my windows 10 laptop I tried to open it and a message comes up that says 'This installation could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer package' .
Does anyone know how i can fix it ?

Which game ?
Sims 4 base
Get to Work
Get Together
In case you installed all of them, retry copy/paste of the folders in Get Together into your installation folder.
If you forget one, you can get the strangest error messages
Use CTRL+A to select all folders/files and CTRL+V to paste them into your installion folder.

I believe (not 100% sure) that the fixes are for the total package incl. Get Together.
For just the base game, apply the crack from the download, folder #Crack

If you are trying to install just the base game for now, and you see that error, try the solution I described here:
