Sims 3 complete edition error when installing. [SOLVED]

Hello I download the sims 4 complete edition of the games4theworld website everything went fine I extracted the files and the I started following the instructions to download the base game but when I opened the sims3setup the sims 3 picture opened then I got a error saying "this setup has detected that version 1.67.002 of the sims 3 is already installed" I already have a legit copy of the sims 3 on origin (I installed the pirated one so I just have a full pirate game and not a mix with pirate dlc and legit base game) So I went and deleted all traces of the sims 3 on my computer then uninstalled origin it still gave me the error. How can I fix this error?

Welcome to the forum.
It's likely that there is still some trace of the game in your registry, You could go through the registry manually, or try a registry cleaner.

Hello, and welcome to the forum, 
follow this guide. There's no need to backup registry as instructed in guide.
Also, here's guide how to remove Origin completely. Also, there's no need of backuping, because you alerady removed Origin and want just to clean leftover files.
