Still won't work!
I downloaded Sims 4 but not from G4TW, it worked, but I had to go to sleep. So the next day, I updated the game without checking if it still works, I used Get Together from G4TW, then it said Origin is currently not working blah blah. So I searched about it and read loads of solutions for it. I saw something that you shouldn't update the game right away, so I uninstalled it and re-installed it, but it still gave that error.
So I tried out G4TW's Sims 4, I installed it properly, then it showed an error saying "Initialization error at startup". I searched about that, I did everything that I found here, I had no antivirus installed, I disabled it on the Firewall, I did the reg-edit thing, and I applied the Ultimate Fix, but it showed the "Origin is currently not running" error. I did all those stuff, I installed Origin, still doesn't work, uninstalled Sims 4 and Origin, and re-installed them, Origin first.. but still doesn't work! So I uninstalled Origin and tried re-installing Sims 4 for a few times, and tried the Ultimate Fix again, I tried all of the solutions posted here, but it still doesn't work for me, I've been trying to fix this for almost a week now, please help.
(Btw, a year ago, I downloaded Sims 4, not from G4TW it worked, I played it for a couple of days, still working, updated it with G4TW's Get Together, still working, and I played it for a few months, but I didn't notice my hard disk was full so my computer broke. Now I'm re-downloading it again with loads of space and all of the above happened).
I can't find another solution and I really want this game to work! HELP

Re: Still won't work!
Hello and welcome to G4TW!
So first, please note that mixing cracked games from different providers might not be the best thing to do. Cracks are coded differently and may not work with each other.
That being said, let's focus on a full G4TW install, since that is what we can help you with
So please first uninstall everything. If you can, once this is done, use CCleaner or any software that would remove any unwanted residue. Also, if you do not have any data you wish to save (saved games, Sims, lots, ...) delete the Sims 4 folder in your Documents\Electronic Arts.
Once this is done, unzip the Sims 4 archive using WinZip (the others tend to corrupt files sometimes) and launch the setup as administrator.
If you want Get to Work and Get Together, then unzip the archives IN THAT ORDER and copy paste the content as instructed.
Finally, use the latest Ultimate Fix, and proceed identically.
Only once all this is done can you try to launch your game.
If this isn't clear, feel free to post back and we will help you further!

Re: Still won't work!
Before I do anything else, I install my Sims 4 NOT on the default one, I change it to my Local Disk D, if I install the Sims 4, it's in the default, so I'm gonna move it to my D drive, and is that all? or do I have to change the thing in the regedit? 'cause it says it's in the default, but I changed it.Shamrock wrote:Hello and welcome to G4TW!

Base Game just needs to be installed on C: drive, but after installation you can move it anywhere. There's no need to change registry entries, if you didn't changed them it would run.

Did you move folder from C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts, and put it in C:\Program Files (X86) or anywhere else than first path.
Take a look at this post and try doing some of suggestions mentioned in that thread.
Good luck and keep us posted!

That should do as well. What about your Windows Defender...did you add the install location of your game (on the D: drive) to the "exclusions" too ? Also, what is your Windows system ?

Re: Still won't work!
Do you have 32 or a 64 bits Windows computer. On a 32 bits you only have 1 folder Program Files, on a 64 bits you also have Program Files(x86).
Should you have a 64 bits then start your game with the file TS4_x64.exe that can be found in your installation folder on your drive D:, probably something like The Sims 4 - open folder Game - open folder Bin.
Start the first time as an Administrator by right-clicking on TS4_x64.exe and chooe Run as Administrator.
Make sure you have downloaded and installed: The base game - Get to Work - Get Together - Ultimate fix in that order.
Note: On a 64 bits computer you do not have to temper with AV or Defender.
Check for Origin on your computer, it should not be active anywhere !!!

Re: Still won't work!
I have a 32 bit computer, so the TS4_x64.exe doesn't work for me. And I don't have origin installed, 'cause I tried to install it, and tried to open it to see if Sims 4 will work, but it didn't so I uninstalled it. Thanks anywayTarac wrote:Do you have 32 or a 64 bits Windows computer. On a 32 bits you only have 1 folder Program Files, on a 64 bits you also have Program Files(x86).
