Mods Wont Work ! :(

Good Morning,
I have followed the step by step wikia, mod the sims and g4tw instructions on how to install mods(.packages)
but to no avail they are still not working in my game. Iv searched everywhere for solutions so finally im creating this thread. Yes I have the framework.zip extracted. The mods folder is in my documents/ea/sims3 and my resource.cfg file is correct. iv tried deleting my cache, everything and still my intro loads so i know the mods arent working. All i want is to have more body sliders.. Thts the only mod i rly want.. Can anyone plz plz help..im at my wits end about the situation as im positive iv followed all instructions. I have all the expansions and a few stuff packs n everything is downloaded from g4tw and my game is patched but i have not updated to version 1.36 as i am just now aware the fix is updated.. so thts all the info.. HELP!

hm... i haven't tried that particular mod (body sliders) but i don't have the latest patch either. still runing sweet treats patch.

can't say i have much to tell you since i did what the instructions said. download the rar/zip, extract to ea/ts3. drops mod packages in mods/packages folder.

can you link the file for me so i can test if it works on my end?

- i am running a few mods and so mods do work for me.

did you already have a mods folder n thn put the extracted one in tht or its just the 1 mods folder tht is extracted from the framework.zip tht is used??

and surprisingly .sims3packs work just fine for me

i didn't have a mod folder. just the 1 from the zip file that's all.

oh well i guess im just not supposed to have mods.. Just my luck

Can you post a screenshot of your mods folder? Including the file path in the top of the window?

And I see that those body slider mods haven't been updated for after pets. If I were you, I wouldn't use them, they could cause some issues.

the mod doesn't work on my end. atleast i couldn't find it to be working.

yea i guess its outdated.. but even the nointro mod doesnt work for me..

wait. did you drop the package in the mod folder?

you should have another folder called "packages"

Did you try clearing the caches? The folder definitely seems to be in the proper spot.

I tried clearing the caches. And I've redownloaded the framework numerous times even from the link on here and it still doesn't work

What mods do you have in your folder right now?

doesnt matter anymore cuz i had to format my laptop luckily i had everything but WA backed up on a harddrive. So once thts finished downloading i'll have to install everything again. Maybe thn mods will work.. Thnx anyways everyone.

i Have 1 question actually. Where can i get sims3packs to download.. where i can actually see wats in the pack.. not from g4tw mediashare but somewhere else??

or something along the lines of it... look for the item and try to find the same name..

or go to piratebay.se (use proxy if its disabled for you) and there are some torrents that list each item in packs.

I finally got my mods installed n working along with a whole bunch of custom content. but now my game is soo slow is unplayable and most of my custom content and .packages dnt even show up.. iv downloaded delphy's dashboard and fixed the corrupt files but it shows soooo many conlicts with dbc cache with all the hairs and clothing i have installed. do i rly have to delete all those conflicts or can i just ignore tht. Is tht y my game is slow? and is there any other way to speed up my game? Plz Help i know its a lot of qustions

Gamebooster? Wat is tht exactly and where can i find it

i don't know too much about it, i just know that it scans and pauses all other running programs that can be slowing down your game.
