Can I add DLC to the original version of Sims 4 and Get to Work?

Hi 

I have the original base game as well as Get to Work on Origin. I'd like to know if the DLC like Get Together as well as the ultimate fix would work with what I already have? And do I just follow the basic instructions here https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t21806-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-4-correctly# or is there something else that I should know?

Hello and welcome to the Forum!

You probably updated your base game to version 1.24 already? I would actually recommend you install the pirated base game + Get to Work + Get together + Ultimate fix separately.

You must close Origin completely, and then you can play the pirated game. Keep in mind you should also pay attention to anti-virus problems; it's a difficult issue and here is a (lengthy) introduction to the topic:

But it's probably not going to work, if you install the G4TW DLC, onto your existing Origin Games. Good luck!

Just one more thing.

I downloaded the get to work dlc and I couldn't find the setup.exe anywhere. Please help. lol.

There is only the setup.exe for the G4TW base game of The Sims 4.

The Get to Work, Get together & Ultimate fix are in the format of "copy/paste". That means, you take the files and folders from these DLC and copy - paste them over the install directory, and then also replace the existing files.
