Sims 4 Alternative not working - "Origin not open"

So it's all downloaded, I've followed everything the guide says and yet when I try to play the game, it either goes to black screen and crashes or comes up saying that Origin isn't open. I've tried with and without zlorigin being open, I've tried running it from the desktop normally and as administrator and I've tried running it from zlorigin. Nothing works! I've restarted my computer a dozen times... 
Does anyone have a fix for this??

Are you opening ZClient and letting it log you in before opening ZOrigin?
