Zclient completely unusable

Says it's too old and that i need to download a new version on their page (that doesn't exist?), then it just closes. I tried turning my computer on and off and even redownloading it. Seems weird that I would be the only one with this problem?

I can't log, I can't do anything, lol

In their forums, they are talking about a DDOS.. So basically the main server is down, it is temporary, and at some point it will be back up. Just when I finished installing the base game, this happens.. Oh well...

It's all so simple, but yes, you have to read of course and do not think that you know better and skip parts of the instructions.

I don't think it's a DDOs attack, but an enormous amount of the Sims 4 players are trying to reach that site.

Ru is down but tk neither work.......very good.

I followed every single step of the manual. Yesterday I was being able to download the game, but suddenly ZClient kept disconnecting over and over again. Just a few seconds after I logged in and it authenticated with my account, it disconnected. It has happened every single time I tried.

And today, as you can see, the .tk website is down, so it's not lazyness of us, we ARE reading your manual, but the website really is down, it's not our fault.

It does not seem to be a mistake in some passage, it's just every server is down
Without a Skidrow&Reloaded's crack everyone all, yesterday and today are trying to download
So...we're so too many people and I wonder, since to play you have to connect, even when everyone can play, if too many people enter and server gone down again and and again
It will be difficult to play...

For me Zclient won't authenticate at all, it says connected and few seconds after it just crashes. I was able to connect, authenticate, launch ZLOrigin and download the basegame (although with a few disconnects here and there) normally earlier in the day. It disconnected after finishing with the install, and since then, I've been unable to connect. Restarting, reinstalling the client, nothing works. Guess I'll retry later.

You can't play The Sims 4 or use ZLOrigin at this moment

Can confirm that the site is down.

My ZClient can connect, but it stops there. It can't authenticate because the site is down, therefore ZOrigin and the game itself will not work until if or when the site comes back up. 

Considering that it's being reported as a DDOS, it could take a while. Depending who it is that is behind the attack on their servers, it might not return at all. Though all of us here are thankful for the alternative to be able to play the game, all the activity on their servers more than likely resulted in problems for them. If not from malicious users, than with EA who may have become aware of this cracked version of origin due to the creation of so many dummy origin accounts. I wouldn't be surprised if they have made to correlation between so many new accounts being made, yet remaining virtually inactive on their end due to being used through the ZOrigin proxy instead. 

All we can do is wait and hope that ZLO is able to revive their servers and sort the DDOS mess out.

I'm getting the same message saying that it's too old but also right after I get that message my zclient crashes. I followed the instructions perfectly and I started to download it since last night and it was fine until I woke up today and it showed that it had stopped downloading and crashed. Then I went back to the manual f5 to get the newest one, downloaded and did the steps again and then I started to receive this "too old message" and to note also after downloading the new version after the f5 refresh I no longer receive the confirmation message that I was auth. it just shows in the window "trying to connect" then "connected" and that's it. So it won't auth. because the site is down?
