Origin error popping up after get together download.

i downloaded sims 4 from this website and all the dlc and when i used it i got the origin not running error so i deleted sims 4 and  downloaded it again bit by bit to see which dlc was bringing this error i downloaded get to work and the game worked fine when i added get together thats when the error popped up i have looked for a bunch of solutions none of them worked for me like changing the name of the folders or moving the folders or allowing exceptions in anti virus this has been happening for two weeks so i decided to make an account and ask for help any help will be appreciated.

Double checking that your Sims should now be at Program Files/(x86) and not in the EA folder? Try turning off your windows defender and anti-virus instead (if you're comfortable) and see if the error is gone.

It's not necessarily a direct solution to your problem, but you could nonetheless consider trying to install the other DLC, starting from "City Living", and so forth. See the guide here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t21806-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-4-correctly

Just try City Living for now. I remember back then this was a huge problem with "Get together"...my guess is that after that particular DLC they (i.e. the people who created the crack) changed something, so that from City living DLC onwards the error is less likely to happen.

Then try circumventing Windows Defender, for example by the methods shown here:

Look at number #2 in the guide; the one about editing the registry. Once you did that, re-boot the computer, then re-install whatever is your "highest" DLC, and then try the game again. 

If after that you are still encountering problems, I don't know many more options. Some people said they had a program called "Lavasoft Web Companion", and uninstalling that one also helps fixing the error. Maybe you could look into that as well.

You replied very quickly (after my last post); are you sure you read the guide I posted before, properly? Did you also check your computer if you have "Lavasoft's Web Companion" installed?

If nothing apparently works for you, then I'm not sure what else to suggest, I'm sorry. If you really want to play a cracked Sims 4 game (one of the worst PC games ever by the way, but OK), then I suppose you could still try using zlOrigin. A starting guide can be found here:

i replied quickly because i dont have windows 10 or lavasoft web companion i have tried zlorigin and i still got the same error im just gonna get sims 3 instead

If you have Windows Vista/7 or Windows 8, you actually have the option of turning off Windows Defender easily. See the guide here, if you like:

i have windows 8 my windows defender has never been turned on i have tried to use alot of the fixes on this website the only thing that worked for me was actually having origin but i cant download origin because it comes up with the error this application was unable to start correctly when i try to download it

I'll take your word for it, but as hinted before, I'm afraid at that point I can't really suggest more. You can try giving zlOrigin a go, or maybe someone else has another idea. The only other thing I can offer is the thread here, in which users shared some (more obscure) fixes to deal with the error:

And no, you do not need Origin for running the cracked Sims 4 game. 

Should it be XP there is nothing that works. I joined this Forum because I had the same problem with my XP Windows. Gave up. Did not have Origin installed and I was not connected to the internet with that Computer. ( Old Desktop ) So I installed everything on the Laptop and never had major problems that could not be solved.

i fixed the problem i had to install a bunch of dll files for origin when i downloaded origin i hat to restart my laptop i installed all the dlc and then entered the game after each installation and it worked i just needed origin on the laptop but not running.
