Hello again @Tam23,
Can you try deleting the subfolder "Game", from where you have The Sims 4 installed? Then re-download a fresh one from the link:
https://goo.gl/sLDwxD
This one's for the latest 1.39 update. Extract with WinRAR and place the folder where your old one was (of course). Then try the game again.
Also make sure to remove ALL your old (script) mods as well temporarily. Good luck!
