stuck on loading screen Empty stuck on loading screen

so, after i downloaded the update file (newest sims 4 thingy) every time ive tried to load a lot, or create a household and put them in a house it just gets stuck on the loading screen. i dont know what to do, so i came here lol. any suggestions?
