Unable to install the sims 4 base game

Thank you everyone for all your efforts. I have recently reinstalled my windows 10 and so the sims 4 got uninstalled. I am trying to reinstall it but i can't run the .exe file, this is the error i get:

I was working on the "new project", hence the late response. Incidentally though, I believe this error is one of the first I ever wrote about on here, many years ago!

So have you tried extracting the contents with WinRAR?

I apologize for posting, i didn't realize it was a common issue.
