Sims 3 times out and says it has stopped working. Empty Sims 3 times out and says it has stopped working.

I get the launcher to open, but I can't install new game content. I
have installed the ultimate fix and it is still having problems. It
opens the box to show that the content is trying to install and times
out with "Sims 3 has stopped working". Please help. Thank you.

You have 70's, 80's, and 90's stuff pack? and the latest Ultimate fix?
