I downloaded Sims 3 base game and Island paradise, it wont work? Empty I downloaded Sims 3 base game and Island paradise, it wont work?

Hello,
I downloaded the base game and island paradise installed base and cracked. i tried to install the island paradise sims and it says it has to update, when i click ok, it says update failed and that setup is unable to continue. what is wrong?
