Certain sims not aging?

I am having a problem with only certain sims not aging, but others are. There age bars seem to be stuck. I have been forcing them to age with the cheat, but I want them to age normally. I have been looking for solutions online but most are for all sims not aging when in my case it is only certain ones. Anybody have a fix?

Hi,
Adding onto what cat said, you can also get the progression mod from the same place and that is specifically going to have the sims in the town age and get married etc. in a more realistic way. Be sure to read the instructions carefully before installing any mods. Smile

Hello,

If the above doesn't work for you, you should try the following:
Set the lifespan to a Sims default (whether normal, long, epic, etc), save the game, play for like 10 minutes or so, and then reset the lifespan to your specifications, save again, quit, and log back in.

The mods seemed to help the game. They are aging again for now. Do I have to keep them installed for them to keep aging?

Hi, yes, the mods work by canceling EA's aging system and replacing it with their own so when you uninstall them, EA's aging system goes back in place.
