Can't pick towns. [SOLVED]

Hey Guys,

I have recently downloaded and installed the Sims 3 with all stuff packs and expansions packs,
But i have a little bit of a problem.
When I start the game I can't pick any Towns/Worlds in the main menu and I also have no options to choose from in the options menu in the lower left corner.
I already searched for a solution on the forum but it seems like none of the solutions worked so far for me.
Hopefully one of you guys can help me out and solve this problem.

Yeah? I would really like to know HOW what's the solution, cause I have the same problem.

But this error is (usually) resolved by re-doing the steps from #2 to #4 in the following small guide here:

Do make sure to do these steps as precisely as possible, and it should work out in the end. Good luck ! Smile
