Error: Origin is not running Empty Error: Origin is not running

I've done all the installation steps 5 times... It still does the same error! I'm trying to install The Sims 4, Get to Work and Get Together DLC's with the ultimate fixer but it never works. I think it's the rldorigin.dll but I can't be sure. Please help!

Hello and welcome to the forum @chirmac,

Are you sure you moved the install-folder of "The Sims 4" under C:\Program files (x86) ? And why do you suspect the error has to do with your rldorigin.dll ? Are you sure you configured your Windows Defender & anti-virus exclusions properly ? See this here.

Nvm I got it working... Apparently I have to do all this in Windows safe mode or it won't let me copy/paste the rldorigin.dll's into another folder. It had nothing to do with the AV, thank god!

Wait how did you fix it. I have the same problem.
I exempted everything and moved The Sims 4 file to C:\Program files (x86). I made sure origin was never running in the first place.

Just download everything you need and then do the copy/paste in safe mode. Don't forget that you can't run the game in that mode, just paste folders without restrictions.

Very interesting fix (the first of its kind I have heard about here). Thanks for sharing it ! Smile  Luckily, I myself don't have to go through these lengths, I can always apply crack-files in normal Windows mode.
