What is the best The Sims 3 world to play ?

Hi, I have been playing Appaloosa for a long time and was wondering what other people thought was the best world to play. Actually thinking of Hidden springs but i hear there are problems with routing in that one.

there are too many world map to mention still it depends on your taste

cause me I prefer a big map which has a lot of vacant and more slot for more building

Some people wants to live near in the beach were their world map is like a beach resort but me I prefer living in the city.

Personally I prefer a smallish town without high rise buildings, but it depends on my mood which world I choose. Usually something that is open for development, an empty world.

Yeah, I like Sunlidt Tides too - it's awesome and I can't wait for Seasons to get released so my simmers can bath in that crystal clear water!! Hammertime

Yes, I can't wait for seasons either as I think that will bring a lot more life to the game. I should try Sunlit tides as it seems very popular. I emtied Appaloosa and made the town my own but i would still love to get a copy to edit in CAW.

I'm sticking with Sunset Valley for myself. Though my son Kom plays with Hidden Springs and my other son Omoro stays within Bridgeport. I tried Union Cove, and I loved it a lot.

Union Cove is quite a very impressive world created by a professionnal group. It has EVERYTHING YOU NEED, from bars, laundry buildings, parks for cats, and over 6 bars and markets. It's very impressive. but I must warn you that this world is NOT to be played on a low-end computer. You can really damage your ram and video card by going in there, since this world is three times bigger than sunset valley. so be really careful about it. You can donload union cove at Karl's the sims 3 guide website. just google it...

- World was built on an average PC, 2.4GHz Intel Core2 Duo, 2GB RAM. It should be playable on the average PC.

So if your computer can run other neighborhoods, you should be able to run this.

Yeah, try it! I promise you'll love this neighbourhood. They promised they're going to update it once Sims 3 Seasons has been released for sale. For now, it's Version 2.00 and it's up to Showtime expansions. Have fun!!!

My computer specs are: 4gb ram, 3.2 ghtz processor, 2 gb video ati radeon hd. It costed me 425 $ new at the local store. My ancient one was 3000$ and it had: 16 gb ram, 6 core processor, 3 gb video ati radeon hd and 2 ssd 120 gb for extra speed. well, my husband who was very good with pcs, built it to have it on maximum power after june 2011. now, this one is at his work, and my sons and me have to be content only with the first I talked about. But oit still goes very well. I think your computer shall take it. Have fun!!!

My favorite is Lucky Palms, it's so big and beautiful. And recently i've been playing Sunlit tides but after some time i started freaking out because i have like a phobia of being in a small island without escape, and i don't see any ships or planes in there, lol

Lucky Palms is wonderful too, with its rich beige sands. Sunlit Tides made me think I was living on a paradise island, whcih will never happen, since here in Quebec, it's frosty almost all the time, except from june to august. When I was living in kenya in Africa, it was hot, and the rainy seasons were cool and vegetative. I miss the wonderful weather and landscapes of my childhood. In 2005, I moved in Canada with my family, it was on january, and believe me, I chattered with all my body under a -30 Celsius degree! That's why I love Lucky Palms and Sunlit Tides. But my favorite one'll always be Sunset Valley.

I'm surprised you've adjusted to the cold.
It's not nearly as cold here as it is there. In fact, we don't even get temperatures below -10 that often. But my husband, who was born in Morocco and moved here when he was 5-6 (that's 32 years ago), still hasn't gotten used to it.
Last weekend we went to the zoo, it was 7 degrees C above 0. I was wearing jeans, a long sleeved t-shirt and a winter coat. He was wearing 2 pairs of long underwear, 2 long sleeved t-shirt, jeans, knitted sweater (that goes up to the chin), winter coat and still complained of the cold lol.
It has to get below 0 during the day before I even consider a knitted sweater lol.

Hahahaha! Well, I'm not the only one in the family who got used. On the next winter, we all got acclimated thanks to the heaters and lots of sheets in the beds. By now, I don't need many clothes in winter, except for my snow coat. I sometimes use sweat shirts, but only if I'm going for skiing atop the mountains or doing skating on the ice.
It's surprising for all my friends, but I'm a very good skiier, even though there's no ski in Africa. I love sports, and I always go to sports with my husband. He had teached me to the american sports. When Omoro shall be 7 in december, we'll bring him with us to Mt. Tremblant. Kom is too young still.

Of course you can, those kind of sims aren't restricted to "Moonlight Falls".

Of course you can. I tested it myself, and it works well. The team who created Union Cove is thinking about updating the world to fit for the Seasons Expansion Pack that will come out on November 13th.

Thanks, I have had a great time in Union Cove. I think it's actually better put together than any of the "official" stuff. It's also incredibly beautiful.

Yeas, I agree with you. This world is spectacular, and powerful pcs can run it very good in fact. I just can't wait for the Seasons Expansion Pack to come out. Union Cove is going to be even more impressive!
